Beef Kabobs

Equipment

  • Lemon Squeezer
  • Kabob Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 1/2 lbs beef kabob meat
  • 3 garlic cloves smashed and chopped
  • 1 pepper
  • 1/2 onion cutted in 2 sections
  • 16 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 lemon
  • dash salt
  • dash pepper

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tsp oil in pan and when very hot, add pieces of beef kabob meat and sear on all sides. 
    Place beef into a large bowl along with oil, garlic and lemon juice using a lemon squeezer.  Cover with plastic wrap and place in fridge for 15 minutes to marinate.
    Drain beef and reserve marinade. 
    Place beef pieces on skewers and alternate along with vegetables.
    Place on ovenproof platter and broil 6 minutes 15 cm from top element.  Turn skewers over once and baste several times with marinade.






Notes

This is a simple recipe requiring minimal ingredients and makes a delicious tasting kabob in a matter of a few minutes!
