Spice Rub Ingredients

Maple Glaze Ingredients
1/2cup Maple Syrup100% Pure
Instructions
Mix all the spice rub ingredients together into a bowl.
Rub short ribs well with the spice rub.
Place short ribs into the slow cooker.
Set slow cooker to LOW for 6-7 hours
Remove ribs, place onto a baking sheet that is covered with parchment paper
Pour ½ cup maple syrup over top the ribs
Broil in oven for 2-3 minutes to create a sticky feel as the maple syrup caramelizes
Place onto a large plate or platter and set into the centre of your table
Serve with long grain rice, season with soya sauce!
Notes
We enjoy the seasonings used in this easy short ribs recipe and at times, we add Sriracha Chili Sauce. This is a nice way to counter balance when cooking with maple syrup resulting in a sweet and spicy dish.
