Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon

- 4 Filet Mignon
- 4 slices Bacon
- 1 tsp Steak Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cut slices of bacon into halves
Wrap half slice of bacon around each filet mignon
Insert toothpick into the side of the filet, holding bacon in place
Pre-Heat Oven to 425 F
Add Butter and Olive Oil into a skillet and heat on medium heat
Sprinkle your favourite steak spice onto top of filets
Place the filets into the skillet and brown sides. Just searing not cooking beef
Place seared filets onto a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper or tin foil.
Place filets into the oven. Cook for approx 20 minutes.
Use digital meat thermometer and cook to your liking.

140 F for Rare Beef
160 F for Med Beef
170 F for Well Beef
