Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon

Ingredients

  • 4 Filet Mignon
  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 1 tsp Steak Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Cut slices of bacon into halves
  • Wrap half slice of bacon around each filet mignon
  • Insert toothpick into the side of the filet, holding bacon in place
  • Pre-Heat Oven to 425 F
  • Add Butter and Olive Oil into a skillet and heat on medium heat
  • Sprinkle your favourite steak spice onto top of filets
  • Place the filets into the skillet and brown sides. Just searing not cooking beef
  • Place seared filets onto a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper or tin foil.
  • Place filets into the oven. Cook for approx 20 minutes.
  • Use digital meat thermometer and cook to your liking.

Beef Temperatures -
Cook Filet Mignons to a temperature of
140 F for Rare Beef
160 F for Med Beef
170 F for Well Beef
