Farm fresh eggs for sale daily, year round.
Ungraded eggs produced on our family-owned and operated farm are available for sale.
These eggs are farm fresh and produced every day of the year. We have a farm gate stand at the end of our lane and fresh brown eggs are placed inside the cooler most mornings.
All eggs available for sale are cleaned and checked to ensure there are no leaks or cracks.
We, at Ambry Acres take the time to inspect each egg for cracks every morning as soon as we collect them. Then we scrub every egg shell with clean fresh water.
Using a clean paper towel, each egg is hand dried then placed into an egg carton.
Egg cartons are labelled and put into our Farm-Gate Stand located on our property.
Farm Gate Stand maintains a temperature of 7 degrees Celsius for safe keeping
Eggs are available most days all year-round.
What is an ungraded egg?
An ungraded egg is an egg that has been produced on the farm. Eggs have not been processed at a registered grading station.
How do you keep it cold?
Hi Alecia, Thanks for asking! The door is on top and the handle is visible, it’s above the wording “For Sale”. When the door is lifted open, there is a styrofoam cooler positioned on the inside. The lid of the cooler to screwed into the door to ensure that it doesn’t fly away if the door is left opened. Additionally, I have a thermometer kept in the cooler to keep an eye on the temperatures, year round. During the hot summer season, I place an ice pack on the bottom of the cooler then a small hand towel is placed over top the ice pack to protect the egg carton from becoming wet. The egg cartons are placed inside the cooler on top of the hand towel. During the winter, if the weather is too cold, I simply skip that day. I hope this helps and thanks again for asking this great question.
