I stumbled upon this delightful recipe one day, and really enjoy how simple it is to make. We often enjoy ice cream after supper and this recipe allows me to make it the same day.

Homemade Maple Ice Cream Recipe

2 cup 35% Cream
1.5 cups 100% Pure Maple Syrup
2 Egg Yolks
Instructions
Pour 2 cups of cream into a pot.
Heat med-low temperature, just until it is steaming.
Measure 1.5 cups of pure maple syrup
Seperate 2 egg yolks
Mix the pure maple syrup with the egg yolks.
Pour maple mixture into steaming cream
Stir well, making sure the mixture is hot.
Remove from heat. Allow to cool for 30 minutes on counter.
Carefully pour mixture into a freezer friendly container.
Place into freezer for 2 hours to chill
Mix to a thick texture.
Transfer back into freezer and allow to set.
Best served in small portions.
