Inspired by a Father of Confederation
The Heritage Collection pays tribute to A.A. MacDonald, our great-great-great-uncle, who was a Father of Confederation. He lived in Georgetown, Prince Edward Island, and played a key role in the creation of Canada.
By milling our wool blankets in PEI and raising our sheep in Ontario, we’re weaving together a cross-province connection that mirrors the nation-building work of our ancestor.
Why We Chose a PEI Mill
Although our sheep live on our farm in Ontario, we made a deliberate decision to work with a wool mill in Prince Edward Island. The mill honors traditional methods while producing premium, heirloom-quality blankets. The choice is about more than quality—it’s about honoring heritage and supporting Canadian craftsmanship.
